At Monkspath Junior & Infant School, our Breakfast and Teatime Clubs provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children before and after the school day. Whether you need early drop-off, after-school care, or both, we’re here to support your family’s routine.

Bananas Breakfast Club

Open from 7:45am until the start of the school day

Start the day with a smile! Our Breakfast Club offers a calm and positive start to the morning, helping children feel refreshed, settled, and ready to learn.

• A healthy, balanced breakfast
• A warm, caring environment
• Fun and relaxing activities with friends
• Safe handover to classrooms at the start of the school day

• A choice of healthy cereals
• Toast
• Fruit juice, milk, and water

• Early Years: In our spacious Nursery setting
• Key Stage 1 & 2: In the School Hall

 Bananas Teatime Club

Flexible after-school care until 6:00pm

Our Teatime Club is the perfect place for children to unwind, play, and enjoy time with friends after school. We offer two session options to suit your family’s needs:

Session options:

• Short Tea (until 4:30pm) – includes a healthy snack
• Long Tea (until 6:00pm) – includes a snack and a light tea served around 4:45pm

• Outdoor play and physical games
• ICT sessions to build digital skills
• Creative arts and crafts
• Story time and quiet reading
• Homework support

Children are free to choose how they spend their time—whether that’s joining in with structured activities, playing with friends, or simply relaxing.

Where children spend their afternoon:

• Early Years: In our familiar Nursery setting
• Key Stage 1 & 2: In the School Hall with access to a wide range of resources

Snacks and drinks:

We offer a rotating menu of healthy snacks such as:

• Fresh fruit and vegetables
• Toasted teacakes
• Cheese and biscuits

Drinks are available throughout the session.
